I focus on working with Founders as I have ‘been there and done that’. I feel that only someone who has the frontline experience of Founding, Scaling and Exiting a business can give real, practical advice to someone who is now living that experience.
There are distinct differences between being in Start Up phase and Scale Up. I have done both, many times. The Founder of a company has to deal with everything – finance, tech, marketing, sales, HR, investors – the list goes on. All this creates noise and distractions from the key deliverable, which is growth.

Over the years, I have realised that founders are generally domain experts – in software, product design, engineering and that experience has led them to innovation and product development. However, they don’t have expertise in business – which is a skill in itself. That is where I can come in, working with Founders and their teams to grow the business to the next level.
I have successfully gotten products to market in sectors ranging from FinTech, Sports, Energy Management and Hardware/Construction around the globe – Europe, Africa, Asia, LatAm and North America.
For accelerators, I also mentor Start Ups/Scale Ups and have worked with Techstars, NDRC (in Ireland) and Village Capital.
I also provide Non-Executive Director services.
